In recognition of National Pet Day on April 11th, Ocean team members donated pet food, supplies and toys to benefit the, Humane Society of Atlantic County, , based in Atlantic City. A private and non-profit organization, the Humane Society relies greatly on donations from the community to care for their cuddly clientele as they await adoption into their brand-new forever homes. Ocean Casino Resort Continues To Go Green For Earth Day 2021
Started in 1970, Earth Day’s mission as "a day of action to change human behavior and create global national and local policy changes” remains as crucial as it was over fifty years ago. It is with that mission in mind that, Ocean Casino Resort, celebrates the original Earth Day green initiatives. Ocean recently entered into their own partnership with Coastal Farms for the sole purpose of food waste recycling. This continues the properties larger mission to reduce food waste that is sent to the landfills which in turn, reduces methane and other greenhouse emissions. Ocean also works directly with, Clean Earth, to both remove and recycle all used lightbulbs and televisions property-wide. Additionally, Ocean is working to transform our property from using CFL lightbulbs to LED lightbulbs, which offer longer life usage.
