Ocean Casino Resort Celebrates Thanksgiving By Giving Back To The Atlantic City Community

Thanksgiving is a special time for family, friends, and gratitude. This year, as part of Ocean Casino Resort's inaugural "Season of Giving," we gave thanks to members of the Atlantic City community by spreading holiday cheer from The Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City, all the way to AtlantiCare!

Ocean Casino Resort Hosts "Friendsgiving" Dinner at The Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City

Turkey was roasting, sweet potatoes were sizzling, and asparagus was frying at The Boys & Girls Club Teen Center last Wednesday, as Ocean's culinary team showed kids how to prepare a mouthwatering Thanksgiving feast. Rocco's Italian Kitchen & Market's very own Chef Julian Colon lead the students in preparing each dish, until it was time for the meal to be served to over 150 members of the Club by Ocean's executive team. https://youtu.be/BrJEe_vlCqY The holiday festivities do not end there! We made sure each student went home with a $20 ShopRite gift card to purchase a turkey for their family this holiday season. As part of our "Season of Giving" campaign, this December, Ocean will sponsor a “Giving Tree” trimmed with ornaments displaying a Club kid’s name for Ocean team members to pick up and return with gifts.

Thanksgiving Dinner at AtlantiCare

As a special thank you to the staff caring for COVID-19 patients at AtlantiCare's Atlantic City campus, our culinary team prepared and delivered over 50 individually wrapped Thanksgiving dinners. Local healthcare professionals on the frontline got to enjoy delicious turkey wraps, green salads, crudités, pie, and cookies! 

Thanksgiving lunch at Adelaide’s Place

Our culinary team provided a delicious lunch to the women in Adelaide’s Place, a center for disadvantaged women in Atlantic City. Our team members also surprised each woman with a special Tumi puffer jacket.
