It’s hard to believe that an entire year has passed since we opened the doors at Nola’s Bar & Lounge at Ocean Casino Resort. Back then, our dream of hosting a casino-adjacent night spot that merges the best DJs and live music in Atlantic City with incredible cocktails and even more incredible vibes was just that: a dream. 

Now, we’re happy to say that at just one year old, Nola’s is easily one of Atlantic City’s top spots for lively entertainment and a spirited night of dancing. And we’re not the only ones who think so—just ask the fans who voted us Best Lounge for “Casino Players” Best of Dining and Nightlife Awards in 2022. 

#1 Kick Off Nola’s First Birthday With Live Music From No Standards

Over the past year, Nola’s has come to epitomize AC nightlife. With live music, distinctive drinks, and a fantastic atmosphere, it’s the grown-up way to party on the Boardwalk. 

This Las Vegas-style lounge brings a dose of the Sunset Strip to the East Coast with wooden walls, emerald accents, and an unbelievable 350-feet long bar for all your libation needs. And it’s mere steps from the casino, meaning your gaming never has to end. 

For Nola’s first birthday party, we pulled out all of the stops and threw a party that only Nola’s could. 

This New York City-based cover band is well-known from the Big Apple to Atlantic City and all down the east coast. Lively, energetic, and deeply acquainted with the tunes you want to hear, No Standards sets the standard for cover bands.

 Loosen up on the dance floor while they entertain with hit songs made famous by:

#2 Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz Live and In Person

Atlantic City nightlife is known for its celebrity appearances, and we’re bringing a big dose of that glamor to Nola’s Bar & Lounge for our birthday blow-out. From 10 p.m., the entire event was hosted by television superstars Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz.

You probably know our favorite Tom’s from their hit Bravo reality show, “Vanderpump Rules.” On November 5th, they entered the crowd at Nola’s with a live appearance.

#3 The Party Keeps Going With Turning The Tide 

It wouldn’t be Nola’s Bar & Lounge or Atlantic City Nightlife if we didn’t keep the live music going. After Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz take the stage, the night continued with one of our favorite bands, Turning the Tide.

Turning the Tide has been thrilling audiences up and down the eastern seaboard, from Vermont to Florida. 

Led by the charismatic duo of John Corsale and Juules Wardle, Turning the Tide excels at pumping up any event with their unique takes on today’s hottest hits. 

At Nola’s, we only book the hottest bands, which is why we’re one of the best nightclubs in Atlantic City. 

#4 All Your Nola Favorites, One Incredible Evening

We packed the place with live bands, TV personalities, and more for our first birthday. But that doesn’t mean we’re skimping on any of the great drinks we usually feature. 

Nola’s Bar & Lounge is one of the best Atlantic City bars for sipping custom cocktails or craft beers in a vibey, lush atmosphere. Guests celebrated and sampled some of our most popular drinks, like:

  • The Nola – Our namesake cocktail is a sweet and uplifting drink that combines Ketel One vodka, ginger liqueur, and other flavors for a refreshing and surprising cocktail.
  • The Marie – Perfect for celebrating, the Marie is a delicious and satisfying cocktail made with Chandon Brut, St. Germain, and hibiscus. 
  • The Henri – Remy V.S.O.P. and Campari are the backbone ingredients in the Henri. Strong, sturdy, and elegant, it’s an excellent match for the upscale nightlife vibe that Nola is known for.

But we don’t only serve cocktails. Our menu is brimming with the best craft beers, spirits, and bottle service you’ll find on the Boardwalk.
