The Scoop on Ocean Eats Restaurant Week

Ocean Eats Restaurant Week patrons will have multiple dining options to choose from, like $39 dinner menus from American Cut, Amada, and Dolce Mare, and even $24 dinner specials at Villain + Saint and Zhen Bang Noodle & Sushi. This dining celebration is a fantastic opportunity to try a new restaurant or return to one of your favorites. The scenic, Spanish inspired Amada, Chef Jose Garces’ culinary masterpiece, offers entrée selections like crab-stuffed peppers with toasted almonds, and crispy roasted pork, while famed American Cut serves a 6oz filet mignon with roasted fingerling potatoes and two dessert options.

Try out the menu at modern Italian restaurant, Dolce Mare, which includes three appetizer selections including mussels marinara and Dolce meatballs, plus Pappardelle alla Bolognese and traditional Chicken Parmigiana featured in its entrée selections.

The $24 dinner special at rock n’ roll music hall and gastropub Villain & Saint features out-of-the-box creations to choose from like grilled Peruvian style chicken thighs served with smoked bacon cilantro rice, crispy yucca, and avocado salsa verde. The three-course deal at Zhen Bang Noodle & Sushi includes vegetable spring rolls and wonton soup as appetizers, and Szechuan spicy fish in the entrée selections, plus mochi trio for dessert. Yum!

Feeling photogenic? Ocean has new photo and social media opportunities too! During the month of October, team members held a Cans for a Cause by Ocean drive to collect canned goods for donation to the Community Foodbank of South Jersey. On November 8, a sculpture of these cans will be on display in the Hotel Lobby. Better hurry, this sculpture will only be available until Nov. 25, when it will then be dismantled and donated to fight hunger in South Jersey.
