Sometimes it takes only one act of kindness and caring to change a person’s life.” – Jackie Chan

For World Kindness Day on November 13, 2019, Ocean asked team members to share random acts of kindness they strive to perform daily, as well as extra acts performed in honor of the holiday. Our Ocean family reported they shared smiles with everyone they saw, donated clothes, supplies or money to a charity/shelter, picked up litter in their area, and encouraged someone for World Kindness Day! Check out our specific kindness stories below and remember, “we can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone.” – Ronald Reagan.

I will be giving clothes and some meals to the group home of adults on my  block. I do this on different streets where i live. The holidays I give out plates of my dinner. My 16 yrs old son helps. He also gives away clothes and shoes that are in great condition to people in our area as well. It’s always better to give then to receive.

I lost my father a year and half ago due to cancer. Today I was notified that an employee was going through a hard stage with her mother due to her being in her  last stage of cancer and needed help with her last chemo therapy. I anonymously donated $100. No need to know someone in order to show that there is still humanity out here I know how hard it is to lose someone so important to this horrible thing called cancer.

I hope my act of kindness will go far for this family going through this hard time.

Whenever someone tells me to have a good day, my response for years is always, “you have a better one!” I always get a smile and a thank you!

Always do something nice for someone anonymously, just because. I love to see their reaction. Besides, it makes me feel good!
