Ocean is proud to have partnered with the Atlantic City Arts Foundation to create a mural that features Ocean’s 5th Birthday, elements from the surrounding Atlantic ocean and the native ocean animals that live in South Jersey.

The Ocean themed mural will be located at Tennessee Ave Beer Hall!

A Message From Artist Shari Tobias

Born and raised in South Jersey, Shari is a Fine Arts graduate from the University of the Arts and acquired her teaching certificate from Moore College of Art and Design. She has taught Art in South Jersey and Philadelphia Public Schools, the Art Museum of Philadelphia, The Barnes Foundation and more. Shari is a muralist, printmaker, and designer of funky objects.

"It is important for Ocean and other casinos to give back to the community and build relationships with local businesses and craftspersons. It can only strengthen Atlantic City and help create a more desirable place to visit, live and work."

About Artist Randi Meekins

Randi is a self taught artist. She and her husband Charles Barbin currently run a gallery in Brigantine called Dunes. In addition to housing numerous local and international artists, the gallery specializes in indoor and outdoor murals and the couple has executed several around the country, on both businesses and homes.

"Happy to celebrate Ocean Casino Resort’s 5th birthday by doing what I love to do the most—painting! I think when the casinos give back to community, they’re investing in the uniqueness and beauty that is Atlantic City. They chose to have their casinos built in this city for a reason and by supporting the community they reciprocate the generosity that Atlantic City has shown them."
