Room Occupancy Maximums: Our Contemporary King rooms are permitted to have 2 guests max, our Contemporary Queens are permitted to have 4 guests max, our Studio Suites are permitted to have 4 guests max, and our One Bedroom Suites are permitted to have 4 guests max. Failure to abide by these rules may result in guests being asked to vacate the room. Guest Room Noise Level: We ask that you be respectful towards our other guests. In the event our Security Department receives any noise complaints a one-time warning will be issued. If our Security Department is called a second time due to noise complaints, you and your guests may be escorted out of the hotel. In such an event, you will remain responsible for the full cost of the room and any incurred expenses up to that time. Check In/Check Out: Check in time is 4:00 pm (5:00 pm on Sundays and Holidays) and check out time is 11:00 am. Daily Resort Fee: A $30.33 resort fee, plus an applicable $11.67 per night in fees and taxes, will be applied on top of the hotel rate. This fee includes access to the gym and Wi-Fi. Taxes: Estimated taxes are based on current tax rate (subject to change as permitted by applicable law). A $3 state casino occupancy fee per night and a $2 tourism promotion fee per night (plus applicable tax) to be paid at check-out are applied to each hotel reservation. Taxes may include lodging tax, sales tax, entertainment tax, luxury tax, and any other taxes required by law. Lodging taxes apply to the basic room rate, upgrades, as well as any other charges as required by applicable law. In the event that lodging is part of a package offering that includes food & beverage, entertainment, or other taxable or nontaxable goods and services, the applicable taxes, if any, will be computed on each component of the package in accordance with applicable tax laws and will be shown on your final invoice at check-out. Additional taxes, if any, will be due upon check-out. DND Policy: Ocean Casino Resort shall perform safety and welfare checks on any room that has a DO NOT DISTURB (DND) sign on the door and/or no activity for more than 24 hours. Panic Device Law: Ocean Casino Resort has implemented a security alarm system for the protection of our employees as well as our guests. Hotel Security will respond to panic alarm notifications and any criminal conduct will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement agency. Credit/Debit Card Charges: Upon arriving at Ocean Casino Resort, you will need to register using the credit or debit card you used to make your reservation. If you are paying with a credit card, you must show it at check-in unless a third-party credit card authorization was made in advance for the reservation. Please contact our Reservations Department for information about our credit card policy if you are not the credit card holder. In order to give you access to room charging privileges, we will place an authorization against this account for the applicable charges for room, tax, resort, and processing fees. We will also authorize a $100 incidental amount per stay. If your charges are higher than the initial approved amount, additional authorization may be required. Funds may take up to seven working days for guests with domestic banks and up to 30 days for those with international banks before they are available. By using your credit card, you acknowledge that there may be an additional delay before unused funds are reimbursed. Each financial institution independently controls the availability of funds. You give us permission to charge your credit or debit card or to apply funds to your charges on your account after you have departed. Additionally, you authorize us to place a hold against your credit or debit card to guarantee all charges. Responsibility for Charges and Damages: You acknowledge that you are responsible for paying all charges charged to your room. Additionally, you are responsible for any harm that you or your guests cause to the room(s) during your stay. You acknowledge and agree that anyone staying in your room is permitted to charge back to your room unless otherwise notated. Room Safes: Room safes are provided in every room for peace of mind of the guest. Please secure all valuables in your safe when leaving your room to enjoy the property. Ocean is not responsible for missing valuables not secured in your room safe. Smoking Charges: Smoking is prohibited on all designated non-smoking floors. Ocean Casino Resort uses advanced smoking detection sensors that monitor for and specifically detect tobacco smoke and marijuana smoke in hotel rooms. Any guest found smoking in a non-smoking room, or tampering with a smoke detection device, will be subject to a non-refundable $250 charge. Service Animal Policy: Ocean Casino Resort permits our guests to be accompanied by service animals (no weight restriction). We do not recognize emotionally supportive animals. Guests will assume responsibility of any damages done by their animal and may incur additional fees. If an animal accompanying a guest causes injury to the guest, another guest or employee of Ocean Casino Resort, either directly or indirectly, the guest accompanied by the animal agrees to hold harmless and to defend and indemnify Ocean Casino Resort against any and all claims for liability and damages resulting therefrom. Pet Policy: Ocean Casino Resort is a non-pet friendly resort. Ocean Casino Resort complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and state/local laws regarding service animals. Any guest found with a non-approved ADA service animal will be subject to a fee of $250 per day. Under the current ADA regulations, comfort and emotional support animals are not considered approved ADA service animals. Deposit Forfeiture: Unless specifically prohibited by booked offer, the first night's deposit is fully refundable as long as timely cancellation notification is received by Ocean’s Reservation Department at 609-783-8000 at least 48 hours before check-in time of 4pm on your intended arrival date. The first night’s deposit will be forfeited if you cancel less than 48 hours before your scheduled check-in time of 4pm on day of your arrival or should you not arrive. You will be charged a $50 no show fee if you have a complimentary stay and do not cancel at least 48 hours prior to the check-in time of 4pm on your day of arrival. Room Requests: Ocean Casino Resort will make every attempt to fulfil all room requests, but we are unable to guarantee any requests until check-in. Additional charges may apply depending on request. Age Requirement: Ocean Casino Resort requires all guests to be at least 21 years old in order to check-in. In accordance with New Jersey law, all guests must be at least 21 years old to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages. NJ State Police will oversee any underage violations that occur on property. Excluded Individuals: Per the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, any person(s) who are “excluded” or “self-excluded”, as well as anyone who is evicted by Ocean Casino Resort, are not allowed to be on Ocean Casino Resort’s property and cannot check into the hotel or make a reservation. Ocean Casino Resort may involve local or state law enforcement when deemed necessary. Telephone Calls: Calls made to hotel operators or other hotel team members from hotel phones maybe monitored and recorded by hotel management for the purposes of quality assurance, training, security or mutual protection. Firearms Policy: No pistols or firearms are allowed within the premise of Ocean Casino Resort, including within our hotel rooms. Any questions please contact the Front Desk.
