Awareness is power! In 2020, an estimated 276,480 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed in women in the U.S., and 1 out of 8 women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. To raise money and spread hope, love, and strength, Ocean Casino Resort is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month through pink-themed initiatives across its property.
All October long, casino guests and Atlantic City goers can look up to Ocean’s iconic rooftop ball and LED sign, which will be glowing pink to spread breast cancer awareness. This pink ball of hope atop Ocean can be seen from up to 30 miles away from dusk until dawn and serves as a beacon of hope and support.
Guests of Ocean can stop by the newly reopened SkyCafe Bar for a Signature Frosé drink, previously served at Frosé Daiquiri bar. This frozen pink drink features blended wine, vodka, Frosé mix, and ice for a refreshing and photo-worthy treat.
Plus, for every purchase of a Frosé drink, $1 is donated to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, an American Cancer Society initiative that fundraises for groundbreaking breast cancer research and patient services through various events throughout the nation.
The #LightUpMBC #METAvivor campaign has come to Ocean Casino Resort! When in Atlantic City on October 13, look up towards Ocean’s LED ball, which will be illuminating a pink, teal, and green ribbon for National Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) Awareness Day.
For 2020, over 100 landmarks have been confirmed to illuminate their buildings across all 50 states, and Ocean Casino Resort, Atlantic City will be one of them.
