How to Play Mississippi Stud

How to play Mississippi Stud

How to play Mississippi Stud:

Mississippi Stud is played with a standard 52-card deck. The object is to make the best possible five card poker hand using the player’s two cards and the three community cards. An ante wager is required to receive first two cards.

Player has the option to make a 3rd street, 4th street and 5th street wager. Bonus wagers remain active even if the player folds and forfeits the Ante and Bet wagers.

Ante + Bet Wagers

Each player must place an ante wager prior to the dealer announcing “no more bets”. The player may also place an optional three-card bonus wager at this time. The outcome of the bonus wager has no bearing on any other wager placed by the player. Each player will be dealt two cards face down. The dealer will deal three community cards face down.

Third Street

After the cards are dealt, each player looks at his/her cards and has the option to make a 3rd street wager (1x to 3x ante) or fold, forfeiting the ante. The dealer will reveal the first community card.

Fourth Street

Next, each player has the option to make a 4th street wager (1x to 3x ante) or fold, forfeiting ante and 3rd street wager. The dealer reveals the second community card.

Fifth Street

Once again, each player has the option to make a 5th street wager (1x to 3x ante) or fold, forfeiting the ante, 3rd street wager and 4th street wager.

Final Community Card

The dealer reveals the third community card. If the player folds, the ante wager and bet wagers are collected by the dealer and placed in the table inventory container. The folded hand shall be immediately collected by the dealer and placed in the discard rack.

After all the community cards are turned face up, the dealer will turn the cards of each player face up. The best five-card poker hand formed using the player’s two cards and the three community cards will be paid according to the pay table
