The Sky’s The Limit for The Ocean: A Brief History of Excellence
Ocean Casino Resort first opened its doors on Wednesday, June 27th, 2018. Our first day, much like every other that’s followed, was a fortuitous one for Atlantic City’s gaming community.
We were actually granted approval to begin play a day earlier than originally scheduled. Within moments of the wonderful news, our guests were spinning slots, dishing out dice, and cashing in chips to their hearts’ contents.
The phenomenal experiences have pretty much been rolling since that initial, ecstatic moment. While we’ve always offered world-class gaming, entertainment, and cuisine, our options and expertise have grown alongside our accolades over the years.
Forward Toward Fun: Gaming Developments at Ocean Casino Resort
From the moment we welcomed our first guest, Ocean Casino Resort has been innovating to elevate our gaming experiences. We’ve made a number of advancements and additions to our repertoire in our first five years. Some of our most notable achievements include:
- Going digital – Ocean Casino Resort launched our exhilarating web-based betting parlor, Ocean Online Casino, just weeks after our grand opening. Since 2018, gaming enthusiasts in New Jersey have enjoyed their favorite table games and slots with live dealers and blistering bets on our intuitive online platform.
- Scaling up our slots game – At the tail-end of 2020, we decided to close the year out with a bang by unveiling The Cove—a nearly 7,500 square foot slots sanctuary with high stakes, catered cocktail service, and exclusive machines. All-in-all, Ocean Casino Resort now has over 1,500 revolutionary slots stations turning out exhilarating fun with every crank of their handles.
- Building the sports betting Babylon – The Gallery Bar, Book & Games is Atlantic City’s premier sports betting (and watching) paradise. Opened just last year, The Gallery features over 100 feet of elevated bar space, a dozen slot machines, and a perimeter lined with blackjack and roulette tables. - The opening of Serendipity3, a pervasively popular staple from The Big Apple offering brilliant breakfasts, mouthwatering main courses, and sensational sweets—the most famous of which being their magnum opus: Frozen Hot Chocolate
- A 1,000-square-foot expansion of our signature Asian haven, Zhen Bang Noodle & Sushi
