Ocean Casino Resort Celebrated Our 5th Birthday Over the Summer

The blazing sun wasn’t the only thing heating up the city this summer. To mark half a decade on AC’s world-famous boardwalk, Ocean Casino Resort hosted a plethora of events and promotions during our #OceansTurns5 summer extravaganza. 

In the spirit of the occasion, Ocean Casino Resort flipped the script on birthday gift giving by holding over $5 million in giveaways. Then, we turned the iconic 1927 Lounge into a bespoke birthday bar replete with custom cocktails and unparalleled festivities. And, to cap it all off, we hosted world-renowned recording artists from the likes of Ice Cube to Air Supply in our one-of-a-kind concert venue, the legendary Ovation Hall.

Thanks to everyone who made our birthday brilliant—especially the local artisans who created tailor-made products for the occasion. We can’t wait to celebrate another fantastic year with you in 2024. 

We Expanded Our Offerings in 2023

This year, Ocean Casino Resort opened two new establishments that our guests have been loving. Bottled is the resort’s one-stop shop for all things alcohol-related—especially fine wines with accompanying cheese and meat platters. And, for heartier liquids, we’ve launched The Soup Spot, a mouthwatering eatery replete with sandwiches, pies, and even a soup flight for those who can’t decide between chicken noodle and lobster bisque.

Pride Has a Home at Ocean Casino Resort

This year, Ocean Casino Resort reaffirmed our commitment to supporting the LGBTQ community by hosting a plethora of themed events. From drag showcases to LGBTQ theater in Ovation Hall and exclusive pride room packages, we celebrated our connection to the LGBTQ community all year long—and we’ll remain unwaveringly committed to supporting equality for years to come.

Plastered in Pink: Ocean Casino Resort Celebrated the Release of Barbie

To mark the biggest movie premiere of the year, Ocean Casino Resort hosted an exclusive screening party for our fabulous friends. Aside from encouraging viewers to dress up in pink, we also held an exhilarating sweepstakes giveaway in which one lucky entrant won a Barbie-themed room and dining package along with entry to the exclusive screening. 

We Hosted Higher Quality Parties with HQ Events

In May, Ocean Casino Resort launched a new way to keep track of our exhilarating events: our HQ2 Nightclub website. The HQ2 name acknowledges the duality of our party experiences. You can have an anything-but-ordinary time at our heart-pumping HQ2 Nightclub or dance the night away under the stars at our exclusive HQ2 Beachclub.

Everyone Got Classy at the REFORM Alliance Gala

What do JAY-Z, Meek Mill, Michael Rubin, and Ocean Casino Resort’s esteemed guests have in common? They were all in attendance during the REFORM Alliance gala, an event that raised over $24 million for justice reform efforts across the nation.

The Saturday, September 30th event was organized by JAY-Z and the REFORM Alliance, a nonprofit committed to addressing inequities in America’s legal system. Alongside its renowned organizers, other celebrity guests included:

Now, Ocean Casino Resort fans across the country can get their hands on any of our gear, anytime—even if they won’t be making the trip back to AC until next summer.

The Holidays are a Time for Celebration at Ocean Casino Resort

There’s a lot going on this holiday season at Ocean Casino Resort. From a custom caramel cocktail to themed hotel rooms and events such as the Santa’s Hideaway Adventure VR experience at The Shop to the seasonal Jingle Bell Bar, there’s something for everyone this season at Ocean Casino Resort. Ocean Casino Resort Gave Back in 2023

From our charitable contributions through our Ocean Cares campaign to clothing and toy drives, Ocean Casino Resort helped the AC community throughout 2023 donating more than $300K this year. During the holidays in particular, we ramped up the positivity with our Season of Giving campaign. From hand-cooked meals to handcrafted cards, we delivered joy in many forms to those in need throughout December.

Ocean Casino Resort is Heading Full Speed into 2024

With most of 2023 behind us, it’s beneficial to look back at what we’ve accomplished over the year. From pumping parties to exclusive events and dizzying jackpots, we’ve done a lot in 365 short days—but that doesn’t mean we’re satisfied.
