An Evening with the Stars: The Drag Showcase

In 2023, Ocean Casino Resort hosted drag royalty not once, but twice. Our March and June Drag Showcases were barnburning bashes celebrating all things glitter and glam.

Ocean Casino Resort Pride and drag shows are like heels and splits—an irresistible, jaw-dropping combo. Our drag showcases highlighted some of the world’s most exciting performers:

These drag divas lit up the stage and brought down the house at Nola’s Bar & Lounge, creating two unforgettable nights of sheer entertainment. Joined by the likes of resident DJ Carl Michaels and up-and-coming pop sensation Roman, Ocean Casino Resort’s 2023 drag showcases were simply not to be missed.

Party with a Purpose: Supporting NJ’s LGBTQ+ Organizations

Of course, our 2023 Pride events were celebrations of inspiring resilience, fearless authenticity, and queer joy—but they were also opportunities to support two of the most critical LGBTQIA+ resources in New Jersey.

Ocean Casino Resort’s 2023 Pride lineup benefited two key organizations:

AtlantiCare’s LGBTQ+ Health Center – Atlantic City’s queer community has unique health needs, and AtlantiCare’s LGBTQ+ Health Center is dedicated to meeting those needs in a safe, inclusive care environment. Supporting positive health outcomes for Garden State queer people and their families, AtlantiCare is making waves along the Atlantic City Boardwalk and beyond.
Garden State Equality – Garden State Equality is New Jersey’s largest advocacy organization supporting LGBTQ+ people. Their legislative campaigns, educational support, and bevy of resources support one of NJ’s most critical communities. Ocean Casino Resort takes great pride in backing their mission. Additionally, we actively participate in the annual Equality Walk, GSE's primary community fundraiser, which has raised over $100,000.
