Ocean Continues Their Partnership With The Community Food Bank of Southern New Jersey

On Wednesday March 3, various Ocean team members pitched in at the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, volunteering their time at the organization’s local Southern Branch location (located in neighboring Egg Harbor Township). The Ocean team members sorted and organized canned food donations to be distributed throughout Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland counties.  The FoodBank supports 311 pantries and local organizations with food---such as The Atlantic City Rescue Mission and The Salvation Army.   Ocean team members also stocked shelves at the facility's pantry and assisted with preparing carts of food for local families.  

 

 

Following up on their March 3rd volunteering day at the Community FoodBank, Ocean’s expert culinary team participated in the 7th Annual Captain’s Table event, held at The Atlantic City Convention Center on March 4th. Held in support of the “Let Us Eat Please” summer feeding programs (provided by the Community FoodBank), guests were able to enjoy a diverse array of food selections from a variety of local restaurants, including Ocean’s latest dining option, the Hawaiian inspired eatery, Makai. Ocean chefs prepared  Shrimp Ceviche with Crispy Taro for the 400 attendees to dine on at the Captain’s Table event. As an added bonus, guests also got the chance to pay a visit to the Progressive Atlantic City Boat Show. Ocean team members were also on hand at the event, where they could be found contributing their time by assisting with fundraising initiatives throughout the evening at the Captain's Table.
