A Little Older, A Lot Bolder: The Ultimate Atlantic City Birthday Trip at Ocean

Ocean knows how to throw one epic Atlantic City birthday party. Whether you're turning 21 or celebrating another trip around the sun, planning one big night out or making a whole weekend of it with your favorite people, the celebration starts the moment you arrive. (And birthday girl or boy, it doesn’t stop until you say so.)

So hit the casino floor, get spoiled at the spa, spend the evening dining like royalty and the night dancing like nobody's watching. It’s your day (night, and weekend), and everyone’s here to celebrate you. Here’s how it happens.

The Ultimate Grown-Up Sleepover

The best birthdays last way past midnight and start long before you ever step foot into the club or onto the casino floor. You and your crew need much more than a place to crash post-celebration – you need somewhere to start the party in style and keep it going. Stay at Ocean and turn your birthday outing into a full-on event with all the entertainment you need a few steps away.

With plenty of room for your whole group to get ready, rest, and live it up, a deluxe suite at Ocean Casino Resort serves as your ultimate celebration central. Arrive to an in-room birthday surprise coordinated with the concierge, like balloons and birthday decor or a chilled bottle of champagne to help you get it popping. Pose for pre-party pics at windows with panoramic ocean views. Order your first round of drinks to be delivered in-room, and maybe some cake to enjoy when you stumble back up to the suite later.

The group chat made the plans. Now give the group somewhere to gather. Book a Social Suite for birthday toasts, pre-party playlists and plenty of camera-roll-worthy moments.

Don’t Forget to Save Room for Cake

The best birthday restaurant in Atlantic City is the one that’s mere steps away from everything else you planned for your big night out. Skip the rideshare shuffle, make your group reservations at one of the resort’s on-property restaurants and order a round of apps for the table. Followed by cocktails, of course.

Who knows – tell your waiter it’s your birthday, and they might even serve you up a surprise.

Make Dining at Ocean your go-to for a memorable birthday meal:

• Linguini by the Sea - Seafood. Pasta. Wine. Atmosphere. Italian food with Atlantic ocean views. As if your wishes all came true before you made them.

• Ocean Steak - It’s your birthday. Order the steak, raise a glass and leave absolutely no room for regrets.

• Amada - Bring your favorite people and let the tapas (and birthday toasts) keep coming.

• Chez Frites - Who says a birthday party needs a crowd? Make it dinner for two, French-style.

Birthday brunch more your speed? Gather your group to yap over Instaworthy pancakes and eggs at Harper’s or Sunny’s.

If you don’t indulge in dessert at the end of the meal (or even if you do) there’s always room in the plan for some sweet treats later. Swing by LaScala’s Fire for a slice of cake, dig into a sundae at Scoops or go with a classic cake pop at Starbucks.

Something to Applaud

Take a break from being the main character for a few hours to watch your favorite celebs take center stage with world-class Entertainment at Ocean. Whether you’re laughing along to your favorite standup or screaming your lungs out at a concert, the lineup at Ovation Hall is just what you need to make your answer to “what did you do for your birthday this year” inspire envy. And if the stars don’t align to have your favorite headliner play your big day? Come anyway. From live music nights at Nola’s Bar & Lounge to DJ sets serenading your dinner, it’s always time to turn up at Ocean. Check out the events schedule and give your celebration the soundtrack it deserves.

The Party Games Await

You never really outgrow playtime. Birthdays just give you a better excuse for it. Ocean has plenty of Atlantic City birthday ideas to bring out your inner kid, no matter what number your ID says.

• Ocean’s 18 Mini Golf & Bar - With immersive hologram projections at every hole and adult beverages in hand, this is nothing like the putt-putt birthday parties you remember as a kid.

• Casino & Gaming at Ocean - Feeling lucky? Hit the casino floor with your crew and see if birthday luck is really on your side. Trust us-these wins beat any pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey prize. Be sure to check out casino promotions before your play or stay to give yourself an early birthday present.

Getting older has its perks. Better games are one of them.

Your Excuse to Get Spoiled

If you don’t treat yourself to a spa day for your birthday, then when?

Bliss out with your group at Exhale Spa & Bathhouse. Swap your party clothes for plush robes and spend the day being pampered from head to toe with massages, facials, scrubs and soaks in heated spa pools. Then move the party into the sauna or the salt grotto, and before you know it, you’ll be glowing more than your birthday candles.

Want the Bathhouse all to yourselves? Call ahead to make it happen and schedule group treatments.

Pick Out Your Present

A birthday shopping spree? Well, if you insist…

Head for The Shops at the Row to choose your surprise straight from the source. Whether it’s a little vintage birthday bling at The Import Shoppe, a cute new ‘fit from Sweetheart Coast or some Ocean Casino Resort swag to immortalize your Atlantic City birthday trip, you deserve something special.

While you’re in the neighborhood, book a pampering party package at Nectar Life and mark the occasion with a group self-care moment. Or rally and recover if you went a little overboard on last night’s celebration with some much needed hydration from Shore Shot IV, which also offers private events and in-room appointments.
