INFOGRAPHIC: Ocean Looks Back On 2021 and Looks Ahead To An Exciting 2022

The stunning new high level slot area, aptly titled The Cove, opened in January of this year and saw an amazing $4.5 million in jackpots in the first forty-five days! Additionally, The Loft (the brand-new high-limit table gaming suite) opened up, giving our customers two sparking new areas to try their luck. In total, 2021 saw Jackpots paid out in the massive amount of $145, 634, 501.20 to our loyal players! 

 

Always looking for ways to reward our loyal players, Ocean Rewards Reimagined was launched in July, offering brand-new benefits for cardholders. We also were sure to acknowledge our Veterans during Veterans Day in November. Ocean's dedicated Veterans Lounge was made available to our players that are armed forces veterans, along offers on parking, discounted rooms, and other benefits. This year, we also made spouses and partners of eligible military personnel able to quality for our Veteran’s Card as well. 

 

Ocean Casino Resort celebrated their three-year anniversary this year, so there was more reason to party than ever. HQ2 Beachclub came roaring back starting Memorial Day Weekend, hosting everyone from the legendary DJ Jonathan Peters & Oscar G. to DJ Richie Santana’s Diggin’ In The Crates event, with Tiesto’s Fourth of July event bringing our biggest Beachclub crowds all season (over 2,000 tickets sold).  In addition, both the The Cabanas at Ocean and the picturesque The Park at Ocean both opened in May, bringing the luxury and service Ocean is known for outside, complete with stunning Atlantic Ocean views. 

 

Known to host some of the biggest names in Entertainment, Ovation Hall welcomed back to the stage world class artists in July. Everyone from Alice Cooper to Brian McKnight to Melissa Etheridge performed to an engaged crowd, while Sarah Brightman brought her holiday show to Ovation Hall as well. We also opened a high-energy, beautiful cocktail bar and lounge with the wonderfully raucous Nola’s, and delivered an authentic Hawaiian-American menu with our new restaurant offering, Makai. We also launched Ocean’s first pop-up bar, the holiday chic Jingle Bell Bar (complete with festive drink menu) at 1927 Lounge. For those in need of a pick me up, Caffeccino opened in July, offering a delectable menu of coffees, lattes, and pastries. 

 

Ocean continued to develop and strengthen our relationships with both new and existing community partnerships as well. We hosted our first Ocean Pride Happy Hour in June (Pride Month) and developed a partnership with AC Pride. Ocean also contributed $40,000 in gifts and donations to a variety of Southern New Jersey non-profit organizations as part of our inaugural Season of Giving initiative. Ocean also donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross Hurricane Ida Relief Fund, commemorated 09/11 by donating to the Saracini-O'Neill Atlantic City 09/11 Memorial during a moving ceremony to mark the twenty year anniversary.
