HQ2 Beachclub & Nightclub Deliver Massive Memorial Day Entertainment

Published: April 2022
The warm weather is already creeping in, and shortly we will see the dance floors at HQ2 Beachclub and HQ2 Nightclub packed with summer revelers. Whether you plan to hit the HQ2 Beachclub (directly off of the Atlantic City boardwalk)  or the massive HQ2 Nightclub, be prepared to soak up the worldwide talent we have planned to keep the party going the entire Memorial Day Weekend!

Kicking of a Memorial Day weekend like no other, Deux Twins hit HQ2 Nightclub for Sicka Than Yo Average Thursdays. Known as two of the most prominent hip-hop DJ’s/producers in the business today, these Los Angeles based mixing dynamos have learned about the music business from the ground up, as interns for a music producer. After taking their dual passions for hospitality and hip-hop and deciding to turn them into a career, they reinvented themselves as Deux Twins. Now, you can see them spinning everywhere from Denver to Los Angeles, with their stop at HQ2 on May 26th being the perfect kick-off to Memorial Day Weekend at Ocean Casino Resort.

Memorial Day Weekend at Ocean calls for big names and immense talents, so the trio known as Cheat Codes are the perfect addition to HQ2 Beachclub on Saturday May 28th. The three members of Cheat Codes-Kevin Ford, Trevor Dahl & Matthew Russell- each bring their own distinct and brilliant flavor to the trio, with their remixes for Demi Lovato (“No Promises) and Little Big Town & Bryn Christopher (“Never Love You Again”) showing that they are capable of so much more than the standard heavy bass/vocal dance remix. Their diversity and ability to weave lesser known artists onto dance floors all over the world is sure to be on full display when they kick off the HQ2 Beachclub season on Saturday May 28th.

You’d be hard pressed to find a dance floor that has not already premiered “Summer Thing” by Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano ft. Dragonette. While the track has all of the classic aspects of a slam-dunk summer dance floor anthem, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano have put their magic touch on the track, which they’re also sure to do when they hit HQ2 Nightclub on Saturday May 28th. These Amsterdam-based DJ’s have the keen ability to put their own distinct take on the tracks that they perform, with their recent material taking on a more tribal flavor, such as the percussion-heavy single “See”. After a disco nap from the morning's HQ2 Beachclub festivities, line up early to check out this much-lauded duo when they hit the decks at HQ2 Nightclub on May 28th.

Direct from Brazil, HQ2 Beachclub is bringing Alok & Bhaskar directly to the dance floor, delivering their own individual talents, which will conspire to create a truly memorable afternoon. Known as the 4th Best DJ in the World (courtesy of DJ Mag), Alok’s presence on the Brazilian electronica scene is well versed, particularly with tracks like the ethereal and guitar singer “Hear Me Now” (featuring Zeeba). His track with Tove Lo (the pulsing “Don’t Say Goodbye”) is where a number of American fans started their love affair with Alok, so expect to hear this and more from one of dance music's biggest names as he graces the HQ2 Beachclub with a sure to be spectacular daytime set.

While many times performing alongside his brother Alok (as he will be on May 29th at HQ2 Beachclub), Bhaskar is stepping out on his own for an evening at HQ2 Nightclub, also on May 29th. Known to be an out of the box type of artist, Bhaskar consistently finds himself creating unique and inventive music with a variety of artists. His track “Bad Together” with Lucas Estrada and Pawl displayed a hypnotic type of vibe, while “Born To Kill” (with his brother Alok & Tom Enzy) showcased a much bigger and classic house sound. His latest track “Higher” (a collaboration with Breaking Beattz & your friend polly) delivers a fresh sound with an infectious beat that simply screams summer anthem. Expect to hear much a diverse and eclectic set from Bhaskar as he takes the decks at HQ2 Nightclub on Sunday May 29th.

There is no one better to wrap up our Memorial Day Weekend at HQ2 than a man who DJ Mag called one of the "Top 100 DJ’s" seven years running. While Fergie has sold out stadiums and festivals globally, none of that would be possible without his massively loyal fanbase, who definitely will be clamoring for a spot on the HQ2 Nightclub dance floor on May 30th. Known for beat-heavy, almost dub-style anthems like “Take U There” and the massive 2021 smash “Level Up”, Fergie just released his latest single “Phenomenon”. It is a thrashing, roller-coaster ride of a dance anthem, with “Phenomenon” rocketing Fergie’s sound into 2022 directly from HQ2 Nightclub on May 30th.
