A Hot Summer Calls For Even Hotter Events at Ocean Casino Resort

The seasons are changing, but Ocean Casino Resort remains committed to delivering fantastic fun no matter the time of year! As the summer sun cooks up the action in Atlantic City, ocean lovers scramble for the beach and boardwalk to make the most of the year’s peak heat.

We’re sun and surf lovers ourselves here at Ocean Casino Resort—we are sprawled out right in front of the mighty Atlanttic, after all. But, like many avid beachgoers, we feel the sun and sand can get a little overwhelming after a while and, once the night sky rises above the horizon, it’s time to take the party inside.

That’s why we’re hosting a stacked schedule of red-hot shows throughout the summer in our opulent (and air-conditioned) Ovation Hall. From classic rock icons to pop powerhouses, gut-busting comedians, and more, Ocean Casino Resort is the place to escape the heat and keep the fun going this summer. 

Captivating Concerts and Comedians Coming to Ovation Hall this Summer

No matter your taste in music, we’ve got artists on the summer schedule that are bound to tickle everyone’s fancy. Whether you’re a rock n’ roller, pophead, or funk fanatic, you’re going to want to get down to AC this summer to catch a show or ten.

Let’s start where much of modern music gets its roots: in the days of classic rock. We’ve got a lineup of iconic bands that would put Woodstock 1969 to shame. 

Starting in mid-June, watch out for:

• Gipsy Kings – Legends of the classic era known for their seamless blending of flamenco and Latin rhythms with Western musical styles, Gipsy Kings will bring Ovation Hall to life on June 15th with help from founding member Nicolas Reyes. With a Grammy, 14 million album sales, and countless world tours under their belt, they're sure to deliver a powerful performance to kick off our summer of classic concerts.
• Lynyrd Skynyrd – Sweet home Atlantic City! Straight from the deep south to the eastern seaboard, we’re bringing you one of the most recognizable names in classic and southern rock. With legendary hits such as Free Bird and Simple Man that defined a generation of music fans, the boys are taking their 50th anniversary tour to Ovation Hall on June 28th and we can’t wait to jam out to that trademark twang!
• Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo – Love is a battlefield, but you won’t have to fight to see one of classic rock’s most iconic female voices in action! Simply come down to Ovation Hall on July 6th to catch the dynamic duo behind Invincible, Promises in the Dark, and We Live For Love. From The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame straight to our stage, it’ll surely be a Heartbreaker if you miss out on this one!
• Many more amazing acts – On July 22nd, The B-52s will grace Ocean Casino Resort with their unique disco and funk jams. America, famous for their smash 1971 hit Horse with No Name, are bringing the jams on August 3rd. And, to top it all off, soft rock royalty Air Supply is flying in on August 9th to prove they’re not All Out of Love for their AC fans. 

If you’ve had your fill of the oldies and are looking for something a bit more modern, we’ve likewise got some contemporary classics from the 90s and 2000s on the docket. Starting right at the beginning of June, we’re hosting:

• Rebelution – Reggae rockers Rebelution burst onto the scene in the mid-2000s with their unique mix of island jams and modern music styles. They’ve earned Grammy nominations, multiple number-one albums, and headlining spots at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Glastonbury. Snag tickets for June 1st and you’ll be Feeling Alright as you groove out to a sensational show.
• Joey Fatone and AJ Mclean – Remember when you were a kid and dreamed NSYNC and The Backstreet Boys would team up to make music together? Well, it ain’t no lie! Fatone, a core component of NSYNC, is joining forces with founding Backstreet Boys member Mclean to bring A Legendary Night to Ovation Hall on July 19th. You’re not going to want to miss it—This I Promise You.
• Black Eyed Peas – There’s hardly been a bigger name in pop and hip-hop music in the last twenty years. With unforgettable hits such as Where is The Love?, I Gotta Feeling, and Let’s Get it Started, this show is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Thus, you “Gotta get dat,” ticket for August 4th while supplies last!

If comedy is more your pace than music, don’t sweat it: Ocean Casino Resort has you covered. Throughout the summer, we’ll hear a host of hilarious acts take to the stage at Ovation Hall, including:

• Prominent satirical podcaster Tim Dillon on May 25th
• Chicago-based standup extraordinaire Pat McGann on July 5th
• Notorious TV pranksters The Impractical Jokers on July 13th
• Other stand-up and comedy powerhouses such as Pete Davidson on July 20th, Matt Rife on July 25th, 26th, 27th, and 28th, and Andrew Schulz on August 24th
