Although Mom deserves to be pampered every day of the year, Mother’s Day is a special occasion, and it should be enjoyed accordingly. That’s why Ocean Casino Resort has pulled out all the stops to make 2024’s celebration entirely unforgettable. 

This year, join us for a tantalizing brunch experience complete with mouthwatering Mediterranean classics, elevated cocktails, and live music that Mom’s sure to love.

The Restaurant

This year, fine-dining favorite Amada will play host to our Mother’s Day celebrations. Amada is Ocean Casino Resort’s go-to establishment for high-end, elevated cuisine and has been pleasing guests’ palates with exceptional Spanish and Mediterranean fare for years now.

Located at the casino level just off the gaming floor, Amada is the product of chef Jose Garces’ vision, hard work, and dedication. Inspired to bring elevated Andalusian tapas to American gourmands, chef Garces opened Amada’s first location in 2005 and hasn’t looked back since.

 A rustic-chic Spanish bodega-style decor, and breathtaking ocean and boardwalk views, Amada is the pinnacle of picturesque dining in Atlantic City. It’s also the perfect place to thank your mother for everything she’s done for you and enjoy an unforgettable meal at the same time.

The Menu

Chef Garces is putting Amada’s regular menu on hold for May 12th. In its place, he’s curating a selection of meats, seafood, and European and global delicacies. The central attraction of Amada’s Mother’s Day brunch will be the carving station dubbed La Mesa De Jose where our superstar chef will serve:

• Roasted suckling pig
• Breakfast sausage
• Guindilla aioli
• Romesco
• Chimichurri

These main meats and accouterments are only the beginning of our bespoke Mother’s Day menu, however. Some other Mediterranean essentials Amada will have on offer for the big event include:

• Sangria-infused French toast
• Golden-brown and delicious Tortillas Espanolas
• A variety of freshly caught and expertly cooked seafood—including shrimp, mussels, scallops, and more
• Divinely-dressed salads
• A selection of seasonal fruits such as berries, honeydew, and others
• Pasta and omelet stations with made-to-order dishes cooked exactly to your liking 
• Your choice of crowd-pleasing classics including truffle fries, sliders, and paella

All reservations come with all-you-can-drink coffee, tea, and juice. In addition to these bottomless brunch beverages, Amada will also serve a selection of free-flow cocktails. After all even Mom needs to kick back and relax with a drink every once in a while and, for just $10 extra, she can enjoy unlimited:

• Blood Orange Mimosas
• Mango Mimosas
• Bloody Marys
• Bloody Marias

Vahe Sarkissian is globally renowned for his unique guitar grooves. His musical journey kicked off at the tender age of 14 when he began touring America playing traditional Armenian tunes.

After studying music at Philadelphia's University of the Arts, he began working and touring with some of the industry’s biggest names. Vahe has performed with members of both David Bowie’s and John Lennon’s backing bands and has opened for prolific acts such as Slash and The Roots.

His contemporary musical stylings blend modern sounds with his Armenian roots and are punctuated by his unique two-hand tapping style. Combined with Amada’s exceptional ambiance and menu, his performance is certain to be a show you won’t want to miss!
