ATLANTIC CITY—Ocean Resort Casino announced today that it will be bringing back the hugely popular partnerships for its nightlife entertainment including HQ that will be re-branded as HQ2 Nightclub and Beachclub and the legendary nightlife venue, Ivan Kane’s Royal Jelly Burlesque Nightclub. Both the HQ2 Nightclub and Beachclub and Ivan Kane’s Royal Jelly will open June 28.
“We are especially excited to make this announcement to all the people that enjoyed these venues and gave them their tremendously positive reputation that was the basis for this revival. Our plans for entertainment, DJs, celebrity appearances, VIP areas and table service will be second to none, not only meeting—but exceeding—the expectations of our guests,” said Jordan Deifik, Principal of Ocean Resort Casino.
The HQ2 Nightclub will be located in the same space it previously occupied and will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 p.m. – 4 a.m. HQ2 will offer VIP tables, bottle service and will be available for private events.
“We have globally recognized DJs lined up, as well as a number of A-list celebrities scheduled for appearances, and we look forward to making those announcements soon,” said Deifik
Visionary nightlife entrepreneur Ivan Kane is bringing back his immensely popular Royal Jelly Burlesque Nightclub, featuring world-famous burlesque on multiple stages, including a circular catwalk that descends from the ceiling. In addition to DJs and dancing, Royal Jelly offers classic burlesque with a live jazz trio and an audacious rock-n-roll burlesque extravaganza with a live rock band backing the original lead vocals, a kind of reverse karaoke. A state-of-the-art light show and over-the-top costuming add to the theatrical mayhem.
Royal Jelly will be open Thursday through Saturday, but for those who like their cocktails with cards and a little bit of spice, The Royal Jelly Casino Bar and Party Pit will be open seven nights a week, featuring dancers on suspended catwalks above the gaming tables who also dance down the bar itself. For bachelorette celebrations, the Royal Jelly dancers will offer burlesque lessons to learn the art of the tease every Saturday afternoon.
“I’m excited to bring a nightclub experience unlike anything offered anywhere, adding an exciting amenity worthy of the unique experience Ocean Resort Casino will be offering its guests,” said Kane.
For those looking for the daytime pool party experience, Ocean Resort Casino will feature the HQ2 Beachclub on the boardwalk level of the resort, and will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. Partygoers at HQ2 will have the option of general admission or daybed and cabana rental with bottle service. The Beachclub will be available for private events and is exploring other themed and special events throughout the season.
Additionally, the hotel will feature the Poseidon Pool & Cabana Club, a private and distinctive VIP area with three pools and 13 cabanas that overlook the Atlantic Ocean. With a more exclusive feel, Poseidon Pool & Cabana Club will serve as a complement to the more entertainment focused Beachclub and a contrast to Eclipse, the property’s family-focused pool.
“With the proximity of the property to the ocean and our attention to the overall guest experience, we hope the Beachclub and the Poseidon Pool will offer something for every taste and appeal to a variety of people looking for daytime fun and entertainment. We are excited to share these venues opening weekend with the first guests of Ocean Resort Casino,” said Deifik.
